Punting this early in the season can be very tough — costs are inviting, but with so many unknowns and no form book to fall back on, there are tons of nasty surprises lurking to scupper your own acca.
I have gone for a Russo-Swedish treble; the Russian Premier League is still in its infancy, although the Swedish top-tier is well underway.
Beginning in Russia, I have Rostov beating at Krylya Sovetov.
Rostov are unbeaten in their opening four (winning twice)–scoring at least 2 goals in each game–and I’m confident they’ll conquer a Krylya side who have dropped three of the opening four, even despite just playing the one away game.
My Swedish selection is Gothenburg ousting Falkenbergs.
The side are pushing for a European location, and just one defeat in their last 16 suggests they’re well on their way; two home wins over the spin also sees them head into Monday’s clash in good shape.
Falkenbergs, on the other hand, possess a horrific off record, making only two points from their eight to the road (conceding 10 in their past two).
I anticipate a comfortable home win.
Finally I have a biggie, Orebro to conquer Kalmar away from home, priced at a huge 13/5.
Kalmar, that are in enormous relegation danger, have dropped five of their last six matches (the 1 exception being a 2-2 draw at home where the competitions have been down to 10 men for half an hour), and should no way be favourites for it.
Orebro are a strong mid-table side having a strong away album — winning four of the final six on the street (both defeats at that time coming from top-five groups ). This is a great pick.
