Hull’s Angus MacDonald diagnosed with early stages of bowel cancer

Hull City have announced that defender Angus MacDonald was diagnosed with early stages of prostate cancer.
The Sky Bet Championship club said in a statement that MacDonald, 26, had shown”great strength of personality” in his reaction to the analysis.
“Hull City are unhappy to announce that Angus Macdonald was diagnosed with early stages of bowel cancer,” a club statement read.
“Angus has shown great strength of character in the way he’s reacted to the information. The Tigers family unite together in showing Angus love that is continuing and will encourage him.
“His bodily and psychological wellbeing are our number one priority in this moment now.
“The team kindly requests that supporters and the press respect the privacy of Angus and his family currently. Please also note any additional updates on his progress will be offered by the bar.”
MacDonald joined Hull in January 2018 in Barnsley and has created 14 Championship looks.
