Deontay Wilder v Tyson Fury II: Rematch set for February 22, according to British boxer

Tyson Fury claimed a highly-anticipated rematch against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has been signed to happen on February 22 next year.

Many believed Fury deserved the nod in their first bout last December despite being knocked down two but it was scored a draw, leading to Wilder retaining his title.

Wilder is supposed to shield his belt at a different return bout against Luis Ortiz but should he record another win against the Cuban, that paves the way for another showdown against Fury.

The Briton has pledged he won’t let their next contest visit the scorecards, telling a Q&A with an event at Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre:”This time I will knock him that the f*** out.

“The rematch has been signed and confirmed, 22 February. It is on, the rematch.

“This time I haven’t been out the ring for 3 decades, this time I have not been abusing an excessive amount of alcohol.”
