England Women’s boss Phil Neville dismisses US speculation

Phil Neville says he is”100 percent happy” since England Women’s boss despite links into the United States Women’s vacancy.
Ahead of Tuesday’s defeat to Norway at Bergen, it had been reported Neville was that the number one target of world champions.
But when asked about the rumours after the game, Neville – who’s set to be in charge of a Great Britain team at the summer’s Tokyo Olympics – stated:”I have been linked with lots of jobs because becoming England manager and that’s because my players have been so great.
“I’ve said earlier, I really like the job I’m doing, it’s a huge challenge.
“The players ‘ have been heading in the perfect direction and that I get endorsed unbelievably by the FA. So I am 100 percent happy.”
England’s defeat to Norway currently means that the Lionesses have gone four games without a win since their 3-0 World Cup quarter-final victory.
During Tuesday’s match, the Football Association announced the fixture will be a friendly at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on October 5.
And Neville said:”We’ve got another game after that we’ll announce soon, and I’ve said to them we must win both games. We have to start winning games and playing .”
