Steve Price left fuming after Warrington’s defeat by Leeds

Warrington coach Steve Price branded his group’s performance”unacceptable” when they were beaten 26-4 by Leeds.

“That’s not a performance I’m content with,” Price explained. “It was unacceptable what we dished up tonight.
“We had everything to play for. Credit to Leeds, I thought they showed a lot of intent.
“But we had 15 errors. We have not done that for a very long time. We had our greatest missed tackle count for a long time.
“I did not see it coming. There is an excellent soccer team there and that’s why I am disappointed.
“To throw away two opportunities for two snacks at the semi-final, that’s what I’m filthy about.”
Price is optimistic of getting forward Joe Philbin and Declan Patton back accessible after they missed the Leeds match.
Warrington will take in the Halliwell Jones Stadium on the Tigers Thursday.
