Ruiz Jr vs Joshua II: Andy Ruiz Jr has not lost his edge and hunger ahead of rematch, says Shannon Briggs

Shannon Briggs doesn’t think Andy Ruiz Jr has slacked off because getting world champion, revealing that the Mexican remains more hungry than ever before.
As the group continued their media tour in Saudi Arabia to its December 7 rematch, live on Sky Sports Box Office ruiz Jr returned on Thursday, to New York, the scene of the gigantic mad against Anthony Joshua.

“Most men fall off, however he [Ruiz Jr] still looks hungry,” Briggs told Sky Sports.
“With many fighters, you win that title and you party, observe, you lose that advantage. I saw Ruiz and he looked just like a solid brick-house, I could not believe how good he looked, he actually looked powerful, I am impressed.
“It’ll be a great battle. Can it be Joshua as good as we believe he is Ruiz that good or is? We’ll learn.”
With respect to the battle’The Cannon’ admits he was stunned by the results.
“I was amazed but we all understand on the boxing interior how great a fighter Ruiz Jr is,” he said.
“I’ve history with him, I have known him for quite a couple of years and have attempted to inspire and encourage him just like I do everyone.
“I’m happy he got a shooter and that he took good advantage of it.
“I think that perhaps AJ was not in his best, maybe because it was not the original opponent, he had a good deal of anger (Jarrell) Miller, the edge was off, maybe he began slacking in coaching ”
