FA liaising with Crystal Palace following disorder among Aston Villa fans at Selhurst Park

The FA is liaising with Crystal Palace over crowd disturbances Between Aston Villa supporters at the end of the Premier League Match at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Founded on societal websites showed crowd trouble in the away end, with Villa fans involved clashes with stewards and police after the game as officials used batons to try and contain the disease.
The Metropolitan Police after the disorder arrested on suspicion of affray A guy and an investigation is underway.
Sky Sports News understands while the Met Police continue to explore no injuries have been reported.
Met Police said in a statement:”At the game at Selhurst Park between Aston Villa and Crystal Palace there was a small amount of disease involving away supporters, requiring police and Immunology intervention.
“A man (no additional details) was arrested on suspicion of affray and is now in custody.
“Body worn out footage also CCTV will be assessed as well as an evaluation is underway.”
Sky Sports News understands Crystal Palace will review their security and make all video footage available to authorities in order to aid their investigation.
Crystal Palace won the Premier League match 1-0 after Jack Grealish was reserved for simulation in the build-up to some late Villa equaliser which was ruled out.
Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have yet to comment.
