Emma Lavelle happy with Paisley Park ahead of NH season

The celebrity remaining hurdler Paisley Park in health ahead of the new campaign of last season is reported by emma Lavelle.
Even the seven-year-old was unbeaten in five starts last term – advancing from disability victories at Aintree and Haydock to landing the Long Walk at Ascot and the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham, until hammering his campaign from the Stayers’ Hurdle in Prestbury Park in March.
Lavelle is optimistic her stable star can pick up where he left off – with the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury on November 29 his objective.
Lavelle stated:”Paisley is extremely good. He looks strong and big and round at the moment and did really well over the summer!
“He is back cantering and we are very pleased with him. The Ladbrokes Trophy meeting in Newbury is the goal and after themselves are sort of picked by the races – it easier making plans for the top-class horses.
“Hopefully we will go to Newbury, then on to the Long Walk at Ascot, the Cleeve in Cheltenham and then directly to the Stayers’ Hurdle at the Festival then possibly on to Punchestown – all fairly Smallish targets!”
Training a horse includes a significant quantity of anticipation and stress, but Lavelle is relishing the opportunity instead of feeling daunted.
She added:”It’s definitely a different sense. Last season he was that is coming and the up and today he.
“He is still a young horse, though, who can only get stronger.
“It’s a wonderful position to maintain.”
