Bernd Leno says Arsenal are capable of scoring against any opponent

Bernd Leno says Arsenal have the quality against almost any competition this season to score but considers building a defensive record is far crucial for the Gunners.
Arsenal have taken seven points from their opening four Premier League games but also have struggled.
Leno was guilty after parrying a tame shot of allowing Christian Eriksen a tap during Sunday’s north London derby against Tottenham.
Harry Kane added a second but Arsenal fought to secure a 2-2 draw at the Emirates from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
“We all know about our personality but also concerning the caliber,” said Leno. “The 3 players up top, with [Nicholas] Pepe there today, we have quality.
“They can score the big chances but additionally score from nothing and so the other teams constantly understand and have to be aware that we have a whole great deal of dangerous players which provides us enormous confidence.
“You can observe the game against Liverpool, we had just one or two chances to score when it was 0-0 therefore we can score with our quality in that top three.
“We could score against everybody but I believe the secret is the equilibrium together with the defence since in the end that is the most important thing.”
Leno thinks he reacted well to his error in the derby, that could have ended in triumph for Arsenal’d Sokratis Papastathopoulos’ late goal never been ruled out for offside
“I think that the first goal was a small bit unlucky,” he explained.
“I couldn’t catch the ball entirely and then I tried to get up but Eriksen scored, it was unfortunate but that is the lifetime of a goalkeeper.
“For me personally it was like the group, I had to stand up. It’s not a significant problem just because we conceded a goal, I needed to stay positive and I thought after I did an excellent job.”
Tottenham have finished above Arsenal however Leno considers Sunday’s outcome demonstrates Unai Emery’s side may find the better of their rivals this time around.
“Now we showed that we can play better than these,” he said after the game.
“To be truthful from the first half of you saw the caliber of Tottenham again it’ll a very hard fight before the end of the season and then we will see who’ll be better.”
