Texans vs. Chiefs: Week 6 NFL Picks & Game Predictions
When the Kansas City Chief host the Houston Texans (1:00 P.M ET, CBS), they will expect that Patrick Mahomes ankle is fine. He managed to play through a high ankle sprain but he had been restricted. Last weeks loss to the Colts was the very first time the Chiefs offense was held to under 26 points with Mahomes since the starter. He says so we are going to have to take him that his arm is fine.
The Chiefs are hopeful that Tyreek Hill may perform Sunday but there has been no evidence as yet. He did practice and theres a likelihood that hell be ready to go against the Texans.
Hills significance to this crime cant be understated even though theyve played well in his absence. Sammy Watkins was the Chiefs leading receiver at Hills absence but might not perform because of a hamstring injury.
In Week 4, I had mentioned that I thought Deshaun Watson appeared like a top 10 quarterback and climbing. Against the Falconshe threw for 426 yards and five touchdowns. He is well on his way, while he does still have some things to improve on before he can be considered elite. This game between the Texans and the Chiefs will be a battle of the top two quarterbacks in the 2017 draft (Mitch Trubisky has been chosen #2 but that article isnt about the Bears and their mistakes).
In regards to throwing downfield, this game promises to be a shootout with two of the quarterbacks in the league. Since the Texans have the firepower for a win on the 25, the Chiefs pass rush will need to place pressure.
This line opened at Chiefs -7.5 and the total in 55 based on where you go shopping. The spread has transferred all of the way down to Chiefs although the total has not seen much movement. The cash is due to their incredible offensive revealing. The Chiefs defense is not very good so the belief that Texans can place a lot of things in Kansas City up is valid.
Add to this the worries over Mahomes ankle sprain that is high and theres been lots of people money taking the things together with the Texans.

Though the spread has proceeded into the Texans prefer, Id be much more comfortable at +7.5 compared to +4. One poor match from the Chiefs on the street does not allow me lose faith while I do believe the Texans can win outright. They could be getting one of those games most dangerous weapons in Tyreek Hill back and are one of the greatest teams in the league .
The reason why I lean towards the over is two great quarterbacks that want to take opportunities playing two guards which give up points. While going using the Over might look to be a play that is square, calling this one a shootout seems more inclined than stating one side gets the advantage on the other. Particularly when it has to do with those Texans who never seem like the group that is identical from one week to the next. My selection to this Week 6 game between the Texans and the Chiefs is More Than 55.
