Sunderland set to name Phil Parkinson as new manager

Phil Parkinson is set to be called the new supervisor for Saturdays trip of Sunderland .
The Bolton boss is anticipated to be declared as Jack Ross replacement on Thursday.
Ross was sacked a week with Sunderland ninth in the League One table.
After departing Bolton at August, parkinson contributes, he resigned with the club.
On Saturday, Parkinson will move up against the Gareth Ainsworth, who Sky Sports News knows was considered for the Sunderland managers job of Wycombe.
The Black Mothers also approached Coventry for Wigan and Mark Robins but had been refused permission to talk to either.
