Harry Kane is an ‘incredible example’ to England’s young players, says Gareth Southgate

Gareth Southgate explained Harry Kane as an”incredible example” into England’s young gamers following his hat-trick inspired them to a 4-0 win over Bulgaria.
The scoring started in Wembley from Raheem Sterling’s cut-back from the first half before netting two penalties since England continued their perfect start qualifying.
The Spurs striker’s hat-trick took him 25 at 40 appearances for England, putting him above World Cup-winner Sir Geoff Hurst in the scoring charts and bringing praise from his boss, that hailed the professionalism and work-rate of Kane in his media conference.
“We all stood and watched him take penalties for around 20 minutes and when you watch the process he goes through, he simply gives himself every prospect of succeeding by that willful practice,” said Southgate.
“For a kid to have the ability to watch what he does, being able examine him and watch his professionalism and the way he works in his game, it’s an extraordinary example.
“If you may be certain on the seat when a penalty is provided, then we’re as certain as we possibly could be.
“You are aware there is always a chance that even the very outstanding [penalty] can be saved, but in these moments he really has a supreme temperament and strategy.”
Kane also had a hand in England’s third target, providing the cross for Sterling to convert from close range and intercepting a Bulgaria pass.
“He works so difficult for the group and can be more than delighted to fall in to regions to leave room for other people and play moves into other people,” added Southgate.
“But when he gets his moment, then he simply has an outstanding attitude and, technicallyhe’s a top, high finisher.
“But I return to the very fact that is hours and hours of exercise and should you speak to a number of the other forwards in the squad, they’d speak with you about just how large an impression that has had on them and also how they practice when they return to their clubs.
“Because sometimes you’re able to take part in completing practices that could be a little bit half-hearted or not as concentrated as they might be, but he is on it every single time. That’s where you have the transfer into the match.”
Asked how it felt to overtake Hurst in the grading charts, Kane said:”Whenever stuff like that happens it’s always a proud moment for me and it shows the hard work that I’m putting in is paying off.
“Hopefully I can keep scoring goals for many years to come. I set an England shirt onto it is always to attempt to score and help the team and thankfully now it functioned for me personally.
“When I’m playing with players such as Raz (Raheem Sterling) and (Marcus) Rashford, they will create numerous chances, they are so good in one-v-ones, they are going to win penalties, therefore I’ve got to create sure I am ready for the opportunities that come my way”
Among those young players Southgate expects the influence of Kane will rub off is 20-year-old Mason Mount, that came off the bench because of his England debut.
“it is a fantasy to create your England debut, you wait quite a while for this second,” he explained. “You dream about this occurring. It’s a slim probability it occurs, but it’s always such a joyful moment for me and my family. It happened so quickly, it’s just like a blur !
“I wasn’t that nervous. I was excited to get on the pitch. I adored every minute of it. It has been a couple of months, it’s happened so quickly for this moment, but I’ve loved every second. I am enjoying learning every day, learning much in your seniors.”
