Liverpool expanded their perfect start to this season with success but Manchester City kept the pressure up using a spoonful of Watford.
Pep Guardiola’s side beat the Hornets 8-0 that are fighting nevertheless stay five points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who won.
Elsewhere, Manchester United lost while Leicester beat Tottenham 2-1 along with Sheffield United picked up an away win at Everton.
Here is my group of the week – have a read and select your very own below.
Adrian: The Liverpool stand at goalkeeper appears to get better every time I visit him. The rescue from Tammy Abraham in the early exchanges of the game was as good if not as critical as it receives. The keeper plucked the ball out of the air together with supreme confidence and then came for a cross.
It was Adrian performance that supplied Liverpool together using the stage to continue and win this match. Chelsea, on the other hand, had opportunities to develop a point but also many gamers fluffed their lines.
It is a bad indication for the remainder of the league when not playing 9, when Liverpool begin winning games.
Did you know? Adrian hasn’t surrendered more than once in some of the last nine Premier League looks, finishing about the winning side at eight of those games (one draw).
Ricardo Pereira: When full-backs have a desire for moving to the core of the opposition’s penalty area, not only do they catch my eye but I start to take them. Ricardo Pereira is one particular player.
He is adventurous and fast and not afraid to put himself up in the box of the team. He took his goal at a period and well .
As Tottenham; matters that really shouldn’t change them easily offend them. They have had more than their fair share of good luck where VAR is worried and once the technology goes against them they ought to be in a position to adjust as fast as when it is in their favor.
Did you know? The Ricardo Pereira of leicester scored his third goal – all three have come in the King Power Stadium.
Nathan Ake: The shot of Nathan Ake suspended having assaulted a group number and buried that a bullet header past Angus Gunn at Southampton’s aim was a picture.
It was not just Bournemouth’s first goal in a win against their south coast rivals but also a clear sign that the Cherries intended business.
I don’t know what Ake would charge for Chelsea to get back him but if I was them I would think about it.
Did you know? Eight of the 11 Premier League goals of Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake have been scored in corners, including seven of the last eight in the contest.
Fabian Schar: The chip by Aaron Connolly has been a goal that is particular and it needed something from a defender. That moment of magical came from Fabian Schar whose clearance off the line was short of amazing.
The clearance off the line might, come the season’s conclusion, be Newcastle and Steve Bruce’s lifeline.
Did you know? Since the start of last season, Newcastle have won 43 percent of their Premier League games when Fabian Schar has started (12/28), compared to only 6 percent when he hasn’t (1/16).
Chris Basham: I could have chosen anyone in the Sheffield United rear three but I have gone for Chris Basham.
The 31-year-old isn’t a spring chicken but when it comes to defenders winning headers, putting his body on the line and staying cool under pressure, then he is the guy.
This is an amazing defensive display by the Blades from an Everton side that appear to have lost their way. When you set players on enormous wages you are entitled to huge performances and a lot of players in blue are not minding their earnings.
Did you know? No Sheffield United player has made more cubes than Chris Basham (four) in the Premier League this season.
James Maddison: Alas we have discovered another midfield player whose initial thought is can I perform forward and not backwards or sideways. James Maddison is fast making a name for himself as a player that thinks of the forwards first and not himself.
If Maddison can find Jamie Vardy on a soccer pitch that he can and without a second’s hesitation. I am sick and tired of all stats that tell me that a midfielder gets the most passes when they have spent the vast region of the game moving from side to side and backward.
Maddison’s passes can cut through a defence such as a knife through butter and that’s the reason I am convinced this lad will go all the way. Read about what I have to say about Maddison at this Matter’s Crooks below.
Did you know? Because netting versus Huddersfield in April, leicester’s James Maddison finished a run of 31 shots in the Premier League with no goal.
Kevin de Bruyne: ” There wasn’t any longer than 60 minutes on the clock and Kevin de Bruyne had delivered Watford their blow.
The ball from the genius for David Silva into side-foot home murdered the stone deceased. What then followed was total and complete humiliation.
The pass that imposed this deadly wound was really deliberate and accurate that there wasn’t one Watford guardian prepared to get it for fear of placing the ball in his own net.
In fact Craig Dawson was paralysed by the pace and accuracy of the pass into the six yard area that he uttered as though he had been struck by the ice-cream! Now Watford understood the match was finished and it was all down into the new’baby-faced assassin’.
Did you know? Considering his Man City debut in September 2015, Kevin de Bruyne has supplied more Premier League aids than any other player (52).
Bernardo Silva: Generally you can not score a hat-trick, not buy in my TOTW nevertheless I need to declare that the primary reason behind selecting Bernardo Silva is as it offers me a few more sentences to chat about De Bruyne.
With this time Manchester City have been 6-0 up and rampant while De Bruyne continued to inflict the most barbarous moves on the traffic. Silva completed his hat-trick courtesy of another fatal missile out of De Bruyne who wasn’t just intent on reaping total and complete devastation on Watford but decided to lace his own defeat using utter embarrassment.
Did you know? Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva scored his first top-flight hat-trick in what’s his 178th appearance across the English, French and Portuguese top tiers.
Mark Noble: After West Ham beat Manchester United something quite strange tends to be going on.
The Hammers ceased United from winning the title on the final day of the year in 1995; while Carlos Tevez maintained West Ham from the Premier League away at Old Trafford in 2007. What took place was just as spooky.
Mark Noble spearheaded a famous victory against a Manchester United side who appeared in disarray and lead by a manager who is beginning to look out of his depth.
Whatever sentiment you may have for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United is not a club for most novices.
Did you know? West Ham have won 47 percent of their Premier League games when Mark Noble has begun beneath Manuel Pellegrini (15/32), compared to only 18 percent when he hasn’t (2/11).
Roberto Firmino: I think VAR is currently going to be the death of us all in the end. Nevertheless, the technology was utilized by Liverpool particularly for Roberto Firmino and their benefit.
There’s little doubt in my head that when VAR comes into activity a single team endures and the other gains a psychological benefit.
Even though Chelsea were afflicted by VAR’s discovery which Mason Mount’s big toe was offside that the Brazil worldwide took full advantage of this situation and put the match beyond the Blues.
This was not a classic Liverpool performance but even VAR can’t stop a group from winning ugly.
Did you know? Roberto Firmino was directly engaged in 10 goals in his last 11 Premier League games for Liverpool, scoring 5 and assisting five.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Arsenal find themselves in the best four and it’s down to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Since his arrival at the Emirates he has rescued Arsenal’s often abject performances and made them palatable. Their match against a Aston Villa who appear to be adapting to life in the Premier League, even though it might be a bit slow to live in the Premier League, was poor and they rely about the Gabon global.
I’ve seen this before when supervisors utilize strikers because a get out of jail card and the second the striker’s goals dry up they are the very first out the door. Aubameyang is owed by arsenal and he will, and when he’s fighting, give him a little latitude.
Did you know? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 16 goals in his past 16 matches across all contests for Arsenal, such as in each of the last four matches in a row (five goals).
You have seen my choices this season. But who would you opt for?

When is a rucksack not just a rucksack? When it costs #6,500!
When he had been spotted sporting his new Louis Vuitton rucksack, james Maddison made a little stir from the BBC Green Room prior to this fixture from Spurs. Because we could see everything within 15, the thing that was see-through looked really interesting not least.
I had arrived for Score in the BBC studios to listen to a galaxy of celebrity pundits musing within the necessity of such a purchase. I had only arrived and hearing a carrier bag was picked up by that the fuss and requested the pundits what was wrong with the Leicester and England international with the carrier tote I was now holding in my hands?
It was tough, kept a discretion and was cheap although I admit that it didn’t look especially sophisticated. I requested my fellow pundits would Maddison have created the same sort of interest had arrived on his hands with my carrier bag for work – much to everyone’s amusement.
I think Maddison carrying out a plastic carrier bag with his designer odor, hair dryer and unique toothbrush could have caused controversy.
There’s nothing fresh in professional footballers making style statements; they’re eligible to pay it anyway they select and clubs pay them the cash. However is a price to be paid, as much as the general public is worried, for this type of showmanship and it might prove be costly.
Players who make such statements need to ask themselves is it a price worth payingfor?
