Carolina Panthers 37-26 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: London debut win for Panthers

The Carolina Panthers overcame the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first trip beating against their NFC South rivals 37-26??in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
On a bad day for the Bucs (2-4), the play Jameis Winston was particularly about, together with all the fifth-year quarterback hammering five times and turning the ball over on six separate occasions. The poor play of his offensive line did not help, with Winston plagued.
The Panthers (4-2) flipped Tampa Bays seven total turnovers into 20 points, with early-season MVP candidate, Christian McCaffrey, operating in one of these scores in his two-TD moment.
McCaffreys second, run and a 25-yard catch from the second quarter, was a thing of beauty, since he lined up left but juked back indoors to make a flat-footed Vernon Hargreaves on the floor to pave the road for an easy touchdown.
That piece of McCaffrey brilliance helped after Tampa Bay had struggled back to within three after a Ronald Jones touchdown run Carolina border out into a 17-7 lead in the half.
The Panthers streaked further out in front, 34-10 early in the fourth quarter, with just two Curtis Samuel TDs both sides of a Matt Gay place goal for Tampa Bay.
Samuel an score, came off the back of Winstons third errant to open the fourth quarter.
The Bucs eventually ceased shooting themselves in the base offense – with the exception of a Bobo Wilson muffed punt return for a fifth turnover – to run in 2 TDs (and 2 powerful two-point conversions), good for 16 points.
But trailing by 11, his fourth and interceptions threw in the last two and a half an hour of this match to end any hopes of a comeback.
The disaster day of winston was foreshadowed as early as the opening play with cornerback James Bradberry swooping in ahead of target, Mike Evans, such as its interception, setting up a Joey Slye area objective.
A touchdown push watched with it eventually running in the endzone to a call that was gutsy Carolina stretch their lead to 10-0.
They got a helping hand as Ryan Smith showed hustle to knock the ball loose.
As Jones rumbled from five yards out, left with a short field, the Bucs taking around at the Carolina line, Tampa Bay were finally able to reach the board.
But, in their next possession, Winston was picked off another period – Bruce Irvin hitting on the QBs throwing arm and Javien Elliott hauling at the resulting wayward throw – putting up McCaffrey score.
Winston would fumble losing one of them – on his approach into enduring six sacks, however, the Panthers could not turn that into points that are further.
Slye got Carolina running and up again with a field goal at the second half, until a second windmill Winston interception, backed up in his own half , gifted a chance for more things to that the Panthers.
Luke Kuechly undercut Evans path and Winston the All-Pro linebacker, threw it directly to him. Samuel did the remainder from eight yards out.
Buccaneers kicker Matt Gay bent one in between the articles, a la David Beckham, to finally get Tampa Bay up and functioning in the second half, but it seemed like game over when Samuel opened the fourth quarter having a great 13-yard touchdown reception for Carolina.
Tampa Bay, and Winston, responded with two remarkable touchdown drives – Winston discovering Dare Ogunbowale operating in from three yards and Cameron Brate from 10 yards out – two reduce pull within 11 following a couple of tries.
In between Wilsons fumble on a punt return assisted tee up a third Slye field goal, as he strove to immediately push the ball down the area staged a 41, before two Winston picks.
Both groups are next week, with the Panthers on the road in San Francisco to face a 49ers outfit. The Buccaneers choose about the Tennessee Titans.
