Bulgaria authorities fine and ban four fans over racist abuse of England players

Four Bulgaria fans detained for subjecting England players to racist abuse happen to be fined 1,000 Bulgarian lev (#443) and prohibited from sport events for two years.
England Euro 2020 qualifier win in Sofia on Monday was stopped twice in the first half following racist.
The four fans were punished with police – rather than the nation’s courts – under Bulgaria’s legislation to the”protection of public order during sports events”.
Another fan was arrested on Wednesday, bringing the whole number detained to seven.
One of the seven is a minor, the Bulgaria Ministry of Interior told BBC Sport.
President of Bulgaria’s soccer association, borislav Mikhailov, resigned Tuesday.
Bulgaria director Krasimir Balakov stated after the match he”didn’t hear” any chanting, having formerly accused England of owning a larger racism problem.
However, Balakov later posted a statement on Facebook, admitting the episodes on Monday and apologising into”English footballers and also to all those who felt offended”.
“I condemn all forms of racism within an unacceptable behaviour that contradicts ordinary human connections,” he added.
When he was asked on tv to prevent a similar incident in future legend Hristo Stoichkov became emotional. He advocated that”lovers aren’t permitted in the stadium or even [face] heavier punishments”.
