Andre Fabre ponders Waldgeist future plans

No decision has been made over whether Prix de lArc de Triomphe winner Waldgeist will run again.
The five-year-old has got the choice of running in the Breeders Cup as he did last year, but retirement has been mooted at the immediate aftermath of the victory of Sunday.
Having been supporting Empower on the three previous occasions theyd met, he came with a determined run down the track under Pierre-Charles Boudots middle to prevent John Gosdens filly from making history with a third Arc win.
His future is undetermined yet, I need to discuss it with the owners and see, Fabre told the PA news service.
Hes perfect today, in great form, I have very satisfied with him.
This was a wonderful trip by Pierre-Charles. He came wider to the better ground, the more directly at Longchamp suits him and he waited patiently for the moment.
Everything went well, it was a fantastic day.
Fabre was also by Victor Ludorum who maintained his unbeaten record at the Jean-Luc Lagardere, however, the testing floor was found by the filly Savarin in the Marcel Boussac against her.
I was worried about conducting Victor Ludorum around the ground because he had never faced it before – either in the afternoon or over the course – so I was thrilled that he demonstrated he could manage it, said Fabre.
He won nicely. Hes got a bright future. Well keep him at home for a Classic effort and the Guineas.
Savarin did not deal with the floor at all, She is a mild filly with a gorgeous activity and she could not handle this type of floor.
She will stay next year, but she must not be over-raced.
