First Look at WWE SummerSlam Betting Odds

Ronda Rousey, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman are now the largest favorites on the show, which doesn’t seem like too much of a surprise. Rousey has always looked like the logical choice to walk away from SummerSlam with gold in the women’s branch, Strowman is in the middle of a significant push that should lead to him eventually becoming involved in the Universal title picture, and Reigns seems to finally get that elusive win over Lesnar.
Possibly the most surprising note in the recent chances is that Carmella is favored to walk from SummerSlam still holding the SmackDown Women’s Title. Considering perennial enthusiast favorites Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are across the ring out of her, it could be surprising to see her leave the series with gold. However, there is always the chance that a conflict between Flair and Lynch causes both of them to lose the match as they start a feud against one another coming from SummerSlam with Carmella still reigning as winner.
The Miz and Daniel Bryan are now considered underdogs in their own death. Odds makers clearly do not understand what to make of that match entirely. Bryan’s impending contract expiration with WWE certainly plays a part in that.
Other noteworthy items from the chances reveal the Bludgeon Brothers, who is name reigns was anything but a creative success so far, favored to defeat The New Day, Seth Rollins looking likely to recapture the Intercontinental title, and Shinsuke Nakamura the odds-on favorite to walk out of this show still U.S. winner.
